The home of NSW’s aerial emergency services
Bankstown Airport and Camden Airport are the flying base for critical emergency, aeromedical and essential services for New South Wales, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Home of NSW’s aerial emergency services.
Bankstown Airport hosts world-class operations and facilities for the NSW Police Force Aviation Command (POLAIR) and NSW Ambulance helicopters, operated from the Toll Aeromedical Crewing Excellence (ACE) training facility.
Transferring patients and those in need of care, our essential operators provide vital aerial support and that human touch in times of need — extending to the Newborn & Paediatric Emergency Transport Service (NETS), Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS), CareFlight, Little Wings and the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS).
Camden Airport is the home of specialist aviation operations supporting essential management, specialised operations and emergency support, including the NSW Rural Fire Service. Services include support for airborne geophysics surveys, fire suppression and helicopter charter.
Our specialist operators support emergency services operations, including programmed maintenance of specialised aircraft, specialised pilots, and management of aircraft during extended fire campaign periods. Services include water bombing, emergency response crew transport, fire surveillance and patrols.
Part of the community, around the clock.
